About Dr. Talitha Hampton
As a global supply chain leader, I've earned a reputation as a cross-functional end-to-end global strategic partner within large and start-up biopharmaceutical market leaders, drawing on experience across pharmaceutical, biotech, and vaccines. I have built and led high-velocity organizations that delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in value through the successful commercialization of cutting-edge therapies. My dedication to the life sciences sector is rooted in making a difference and bettering the lives of those suffering from disease. The ability to improve lives through the power of treatment is at the core of my passion for the life sciences industry.
I am the managing director and founder of TLL Enterprises Consulting, a company that designs and optimizes supply chain business infrastructure and processes for small to midsize life sciences firms. We specialize in end-to-end supply management, S&OP planning, life cycle management, traceability, and large-scale project management.
I am passionate about helping others through leadership and mentorship. As a mentor I draw on 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, manufacturing, and operations to foster knowledge and connection through informal and formal mentoring. My love of career development, community engagement, and STEM led me to start my own company called CareerSTEM, which helps students and early-career professionals ignite their passions in STEM-based careers through mentoring, coaching, program sponsorship, and outreach.
I serve as an advisor to various corporate, professional and community organizations and I have been recognized for contributions to my profession and community. In 2022 was awarded the Black Leadership Award by the Profiles in Diversity Journal, a Special Recognition Award for Execution Excellence by Novavax, and the Community Service Award from the National Pine Forge Academy Alumni Association.
I am a firm believer in the philosophy that business should exist to not only add value to shareholders, but to the communities in which these businesses serve. My favorite quote and leadership philosophy is the African Proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together”.
I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband (Dr. David B. Mayo), singing, dancing, scuba diving, learning new languages, mentoring, weightlifting, and sightseeing.
