Profiles in Diversity Journal Announces its Black Leadership Award Winners for 2022

Recognizing the Achievements of Black Leaders at Work, in the Marketplace, and in Communities across the Globe

[CLEVELAND, OH–October 27, 2022] Profiles in Diversity Journal® is pleased to announce the names of the 53 winners of this year’s Black Leadership Award. These exceptional individuals display talent and skill, a commitment to excellence, a passion for mentoring and advocating for the next generation, and an ongoing involvement with the larger community.

“The leaders we feature in PDJ’s 2022 fourth-quarter issue are indeed an impressive group,” says Profiles in Diversity Journal publisher James Rector. “We are proud to honor these outstanding leaders and recognize the organizations that support their success.”

The Black Leadership Award recipients that will appear in PDJ’s Q4 issue will share their stories with readers—the personal and professional experiences that have shaped their success and the insights they have gained along the way, as well as some very valuable words of advice.

The organizations that nominate candidates for this Award demonstrate C-suite support of people of color in leadership, and the inclusion of the Award winners in the magazine enhances the reputations of those organizations that employ, support, and empower these high achievers. The 2022 Black Leadership Award edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal will be available online at www.diversityjournal.com in late December.

For more than two decades Profiles in Diversity Journal has showcased and honored individuals who have blazed new trails, led the way, mentored others, advanced diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the community, and excelled in their chosen fields. PDJ is proud to recognize Black Leaders with our third Black Leadership Awards.

The 53 profiles that appear in this issue recognize and celebrate the achievements of our third group of Black Leaders. Each award recipient has also provided us with the answers to some questions and an essay that will give you, our readers, the chance to get to know these trailblazing individuals a little better.

Welcome to PDJ’s third annual Black Leadership Awards.
